Santa Paula Conservancy is committed to a future Santa Paula that is more excellent than our past.
Santa Paula Conservancy believes in a living preservation culture that is as strong and dynamic as our inherited historic character. Architecture, urban fabric, and rural open spaces are resilient, but they can also prove fragile when recognition is lacking. Sometimes, even their very longevity makes them too easy to take for granted.
We also believe that more home-grown appreciation is the key to avoiding the inadvertent and irreparable harms that can result from insensitively scaled and incompatible developments. Our aim is not only to protect Santa Paula's endowment, but to help it grow well for the benefit of future generations.
