The clunie House

Santa Paula Conservancy is actively seeking City of Santa Paula Landmark status for the home of California plein-air painter Robert Clunie at 40 Palm Court. The building remains a private home and retains its original historic character. This property, however, is threatened by plans for future demolition by Santa Paula Unified School District. The loss of the Clunie House would permanently erase the memory of a native Santa Paula champion of the arts in California and around the world. Learn more about Robert Clunie.
